The study of the Baths of L. Licinius Sura, erected on the Aventine Hill in Rome, must overcome numerous difficulties, such as the lack of information on the exact location, or the failure to identify architectural remains which can be safely attributed to them. However, based on some literary sources, the topography study of the Aventine Hill, and the representation of these baths in the FUR, it is now possible to propose a location for this thermal complex. Also, the study of the reused columns in the church of Santa Sabina allows us to discard the provenance from the baths.
